7/10/2011-Case Rigby won the first ever home run derby at the Pecos League All Star in Alamogordo. Rigby hit 11 home runs in both the first round and the second round to claim the title. The format of the home run derby was each team got two participants which made a total of 12. All hitters got one round with 10 outs and the top two advanced to the finals.

• Ruidoso Osos entered Case Rigby (11) and Mike Devito (2)
• Carlsbad Bats entered Greg Perrett (1) and Ryan Powell (0)
• Las Cruces Vaqueros entered Henry Fuentes (4) and Steve Vranau (4)
• White Sands Pupfish entered Rob Rodriguez (10) and Justin Smith (5)
• Alpine Cowboys entered David Valesente (3) and Kyle Wells (4)
• Roswell Invaders entered Adrian Martinez (9) and Clifton Thomas (2) Rigby beat out local favorite Rob Rodriguez by hitting 11 home runs in his final round, Rodriguez hit 10, there was a large number of Osos fans who made the 45 minute drive for the All-Star Game to support their Osos.
