8/1/2018-The California City Whiptails will return to the Pecos League for the 2019 Season. 2019 will be the 3rd season for the Whiptails. The Whiptails will open the 2019 season at High Desert on May 30. Team information will be updated at http://www.californiacitywhiptails.com The complete 2019 Pecos League regular season schedule will be released in the Fall of 2019.

Measure C, the third try at a parcel tax that funds all public safety in California City, has unofficially been passed by the voters in California City.

This means the parks will remain open.
