7/1/2011-For the first time in Pecos League history a game was rained out. The rainout occured at White Mountain Park at Ruidoso. "It started to rain and thunder and lightning and we had to delay the start time, we have a limited window with 4PM start times, if games don't start by 4:30, then we have to postpone." The other Pecos League Cities are begging for rain, it hasn't rained in Roswell since November, residents in Alamogordo and Las Cruces don't remember the last time it rained. "I didn't know it rained here" says manager Ryan Powell...Game will be made up tommorow as a doubleheader.
