6/10/2018-The Boston Red Sox have signed former Trinidad
Triggers player Johnny Bladel. He will report
to AA Portland Sea Dogs.
Johnny began his professional career with the
Trinidad Triggers in 2014.
Johnny was then sent to the Amarillo Gold Sox
in the American Association at the end of the
Triggers Season.
From that point on Johnny played in the Can Am
League in 2015, 2016 and 2017 with Sussex and
the New Jersey Jackals.
Bladel won the batting title in 2017 hitting
.345
In 2018 Johnny signed with the Southern
Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic league
where he hit .341
