4/27/2011-The Ruidoso Osos are pleased to announced Kevin Griffin as the inaugural field manager. Kevin has played 7 years of pro ball and completes the final move of the front office for the Osos. Clyde Woods selected Griffin to be his field manager, Griffin was set to go to the Amarillo Sox as a bench coach but couldn't pass up the opportunity to manage.

Q & A with Kevin

Where are you from and where do you live?
Roanoke, Va, and I currently live in Laredo Texas. I have been a catcher in pro ball for the last 7 years.

How do you plan on building a team at 7000 feet elevation?
We will attempt to score more runs than the other team.

What do you know about New Mexico and Ruidoso?
It is a great town and a nice place to live and I am excited to be there. I have never been there.
