11/9/2012-The Taos Blizzard of the Pecos League became the first team in the League to have a bat sponsor. They have agreed to use Max Bats for the 2013 season. Max Bat is riding a huge wave of popularity as three of the San Francisco Giants used Max Bats in the World Series. Players in altitude are looking for the hardest bat possible and Max Bat is obviously one of the best bat producers with endorsement by many major leaguers. Max will make a custom color bat for the Blizzard that is Columbia Blue and Navy.

Max Bats is no stranger to the Pecos League as they have been a team favorite for the Big Bend Cowboys and Trinidad Triggers. Many players opted not to use composite bats in 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Max Bats is one of many companies that have contacted the Pecos League about being an exclusive bat. The Pecos League will have either eight or nine teams and has eliminated the use of composite bats for the 2013 season. Max Bats will offer the Blizzard Players great bats. Each team in the Pecos League will have an exclusive bat contract.
