11/16/2017-The Salina Stockade are Hudson River League Champions. The Stockade defeated the Coastal Kingfish 4 games to 2 to win the 7 game Hudson River League Championship. Donnie Speranza got three of the wins on the mound and was named league MVP. Daniel Williams lead the way for the Stockade going 8-20 as the three hole hitter and first baseman. He also won a game on the mound as a pitcher. Derek Reddy played every day shortstop and provided good leadoff support for the lineup. JW Moore caught every game. Eddie Grimaldo was the centerfielder. Daniel Barrett hit 3 home runs and played left field. Anthony Fuentes played right field. Relly Mercurio played 2b and was the teams closer. David Peterson played 3b.
