9/11/2017-He lead the Yardbirds to a first round series victory against the Bakersfield Train Robbers by pitching 7 innings allowing only one run and striking out 7. The Yardbirds would sweep the Train Robbers and advance to face the Tucson Saguaros. The Yardbirds defeated the Saguaros. Culp started Game 1 of the Championship Series against the Roswell Invaders where he pitched 7 innings striking out 15 batters.
