10/3/2012-Composite Bats will not be legal for the 2013 season. Both Max Bat and Rawlings are in process of structuring a bat deal for players in the Pecos League. Allowing Composite Bats was a financial advantage for players who couldn't afford bats and teams who couldn't afford to provide bats to the players. The Pecos League is promoting alot of players and players are at a major disadvantage after hitting with composite bats all summer. The Pecos League will allow players to hit with wood, ash or birch from the registered bat sponsors of the league.
