7/4/2017-Marty Anderson signed with the New York Mets. Marty started his pro career in 2016 with the Garden City Wind. He was traded to the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League.

Marty will report to the Mets immediately. He is the first player from the Garden City Wind to sign with an affliated team.
