8/15/2012-Bill Moore will return as the Santa Fe Fuego Manager. Bill was a fan favorite in the Pecos League despite finishing in last place. The Fuego lost 14 games by one run and really took a while to adjust to playing home games in Fort Marcy Park. Bill is looking to get more athletic in his position players. Despite playing in the smallest ballpark in North America, power is not the ingredient to win games. "Athletes will win games here, anyone can hit home runs here, athletes make the difference." Moore plans to bring back Jerome Romero and possibly up to five other pitchers from last years team. He will coach in the Spring League in Houston and host a league tryout camp in Mesa, Arizona. Bill is excited to get back on the field at Fort Marcy Park.
