1/16/2017-The Detroit Tigers have signed Omar Artsen to a minor league contract for the 2017 season. Artsen spent the 2016 season in his second stint with the Santa Fe Fuego. After winning the championship in 2014 Artsen signed a minor league contract with the Miami Marlins. Omar holds the all time Pecos League Stolen Base Record when he stole 52 bases in 2014.
