5/14/2012-Rain sweeps Pecos League.
the Pecos League is off to a great start in Trinidad and Las Cruces. Those were the only two cities spared by lingering rain storms that swept the desert region. Roswell was hit the hardest. Opening Night was rained out and the team had a low turnout due to rain storms that hit Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Santa Fe had their Friday Night Game rained out. White Sands home opener was faced with 40 mph winds and screaming rain that held off long enough for the Pupfish to get their game in. Amazingly the Pupfish still had 200+ fans show up to show strong support.

Roswell is set to makeup their game on May 28th against Alpine. Santa Fe has requested to have their makeup game on June 20th against Trinidad.
