2/19/2012-The Pecos League signed a two year contract for the Fuego to play in Fort Marcy Park. The Fuego's Vendors will be able to sell beer, however there will be a three beer limit at all games and no beer can be sold past the 6th inning. The Pecos League will be watched closely be anti-alcohol groups in Santa Fe. Numerous Groups exist and have been trying to find ways to stop the Fuego from selling beer at the games. The City of Santa Fe will not allow a beer sign to be hung from the outfield fence at Fort Marcy Park. Fans are very excited to have a professional team in Santa Fe in the Pecos League for two years and beyond. "We are committed to Santa Fe for the long run." says Pecos League commisioner Andrew Dunn. "We would like to thank the Mayor and city councilor Ron Trujillo for allowing the Fuego to play ball in 2012, 2013 and beyond." The Fuego play their first home game on May 9th against the Trinidad Colorado Triggers.
