1/9/2012-The baseball and weather gods must have been smiling down on
the Santa Fe Fuego Sunday, as perfect conditions were featured
at Fort Marcy Park for tryouts.
After a snowplow cleared left field of snow left from last weeks
major snowstorm, 29 players tried out for Santa Fes newest
professional team.
Eighty spectators watched anxiously to see the first action of the
FUego.
Santa Fe manager Bill Moore and Trinidad managers Justin
Lowery and J.D. Droddy evaluated the players. Pecos League
commissioner Andrew Dunn threw batting practice.
