6/1/2015-http://pdl.pecosleague.com The Pecos Developmental League starts June 6th in Houston Texas and runs for three weeks. Players from this league can be called up to any of the eight Pecos League Teams before July 8th transaction deadline.

The Pecos Developmental League is the official developmental league for the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs. The Pecos Developmental League is dedicated to the progression of future professional players. The Coastal Kingfish serve as the primary team of the Pecos Developmental League. With the Pecos League's expansion to 8 teams in 2013 the Pecos Developmental League was formed out of neccessity the supply players to the Pecos League during the regular season. It is the best way for unsigned free agents or overlooked collegiate players to showcase themselves and get signed to a pro contract during the summer. The Pecos Developmental League is an amateur league. The teams will play each other and against the Coastal Baseball League will also play games against the Pecos Developmental Teams.
