5/13/2015-The Garden City Wind are proud to introduce Mike Reeves as their inaugural field manager.
- Reeves is from Hutchinson, Kansas.
He pitched at Cowley Community College in Arkansas City Kansas.
- Mike pitched for Surprise in the Golden League, El Paso in the American Association, Reno in the Golden League and Victoria in the Golden League.
- Mike also pitched for Edinburg in the United League in 2010.
- Mike was a finalist for the Roswell Invaders job in 2013.
"I think the Pecos League is great for Western Kansas. Being the only Kansas team in the league and being a Kansas native I have pride in representing our state.
I really like the Pecos League and the challange of managing with National League Rules.
I love our ballpark in Garden City and I love forward to winning the Pecos League Title and having players promoted."
The Garden City Wind open May 19th against the Trinidad Triggers.
