3/17/2015-The Galveston Sea Lions got their first win of the 2015 Pecos Spring League. Scott Eliztky pitched four innings allowing only 2 runs striking out 5. John Hamryk came in and pitched three innings for the save. He escaped several jams. Trevor Spires fifth inning two rbi double broke the game open for the Lions. Jordan Caillouet carried the Lions with his bat. His two run homer proved to be difference in the game. He also went 3-4 at the plate in addition to his homer. Ricco Moreno also had two hits.

For the first time in the four year history of the Pecos Spring League the Apollos have lost consecutive games. They Apollos managed just three hits. RJ Raiborn had a key 2 rbi hit to keep the Apollos in the game. Brandon Hollier gave up 5 runs in 4-2/3 innings pitched. The Apollos had more key infield defensive errors.
