1/1/2026-The Pecos League will feature realignment for the 2026 season. The alignment will feature eight teams in both the Mountain and Pacific Divisions with a North and a South that further divides into four divisions of four. The Division Alignment will be as shown below:

Mountain South

The Playoff alignment is as follows: Three Teams from the Pacific North and Pacific South will make the Playoffs with the #2 seed meeting the #3 seed in the first round while the #1 seed receives a buy. The top two records from the Mountain North and South will also qualify. For the final two Mountain Division spots it will be the two teams with next best record in the entire Mountain Division.

The major realignment benefits the remaining eight mountain division teams. To reach the Pecos League Finals they no longer have to go through Tucson or Roswell which have won the Mountain Division five of the seven years since the divisions split. It also gives an equal number of teams in each division for playoffs.

Tucson and San Rafael met for the Pacific Division Championship in 2022 and the Pecos League Championship in 2023 and 2025. Roswell and Tucson met for Pecos League Championship in 2021 and 2022.

The Mountain North and Pacific North remain the same. The biggest change is the Pacific South with the addition of Grand Junction and having Roswell join their division.
