2/28/2025-The Santa Fe Fuego and the City of Santa Fe are in process of installing a 30 foot high right field structure that will be in play. This structure will require batters to hit the ball over the structure for a home run. The Structure will consist of 5 poles and netting over the outfield fence than spans 30 feet in the air.
The Pecos League is no stranger to elevated fences that are in play. For the first ten years of the Pecos League the White Sands Pupfish played with nets in Alamogordo that were in play. Now the Kansas City Hormigas have a 45 foot high right field fence that batters must clear for homers.
