The Taos Blizzard (11-24) beat the Raton Osos (13-22) 9-5 on Saturday at Gabriele Park behind Steve Taft, who collected three hits. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Michael Campbell had a hot bat for the Raton Osos. Campbell went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Connor Sullivan got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Sullivan struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Derrick Mitchell (0-6) took the loss for the Raton Osos. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
