The Taos Blizzard (7-18) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Douglas Diablos (12-16) roared back to steal a 7-3 victory at Copper King Park.

While the Taos Blizzard led until the fourth inning, the Douglas Diablos worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Jeff Lucero.

Manuel Soliman got the win for the Douglas Diablos thanks to eight strikeouts. Soliman allowed two earned runs on eight hits and one walk over nine innings.

The Taos Blizzard were led by Brandon Cookseys hitting. Cooksey went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Joe Katin (2-3) took the loss for the Taos Blizzard. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
