Colors for the Hormigas will be Black, Strong Red, White and Silver. The team will wear Red Jerseys and Black Jerseys with black hats. 2022 will be the inaugural season for the Hormigas.
The Hormigas will join the Pecos Leagues Mountain Division along with the Roswell Invaders, Alpine Cowboys, Austin Weirdos, Trinidad Triggers, Santa Fe Fuego, Colorado Springs Snow Sox, and Garden City (Kansas) Wind. The team will play a 50 game regular season schedule from June 2 to July 31. Pecos League Playoffs begin at the end of the regular season.
The Hormigas will finalize their coaching and game day staff in early 2022.

The Pecos League is an independent baseball league which operates in cities in desert mountain regions throughout California, New Mexico, Southern Arizona, Kansas, West Texas and Colorado. Pecos Teams play in cities that do not have Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either. The Pecos League has two divisions which stretch from the plains of Kansas to the Oceans of California to the Mexican Border of Texas.
