Baseball season is around the corner and teams have begun searching for players. Currently teams are allowed 4 veterans and 18 rookies. The Colorado Springs Snowsox have added Daniel Aldrich who is the Pecos Leagues all time Home Run leader as their first player. Aldrich won the NCAA HR Derby in 2011 before signing with the New York Yankees as a free agent. He spent the entire 2013 season in the Yankees Organization.
- In 2014 Aldrich signed with the Bisbee Blue of the Pecos League where he hit 18 home runs and lead the team with .366 batting average.
- In 2015 he played the the year in Alpine where he hit 15 HRs
- In 2016 he split the season with Alpine and Santa Fe.
- In 2017 he spent the entire season with Salina Stockade in the American Association.
- In 2018 he returned to Fort Marcy Park to play with the Santa Fe Fuego before he was signed to play for the Road Warriors in the Atlantic League.
