A six-run explosion in the third inning lifted the Houston Apollos (7-0) to a 10-0 win in seven innings over the coastal kingfish (2-5) at Christy Park on Tuesday.



cody brown racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Houston Apollos. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth innings.

edison alvarez brought the heat against the coastal kingfish during his outing. The coastal kingfish managed just two hits off of the the Houston Apollos pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

william chapman (0-1) took the loss for the coastal kingfish. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked five and struck out two.
