Offenses dominate as the Alpine Cowboys outscore the Trinidad Triggers 12-9

Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Alpine Cowboys (26-23) and the Trinidad Triggers (26-22), as the two teams put up 21 runs combined in a 12-9 the Alpine Cowboys win.

The two teams combined for 28 hits in the game.

Christian Schneider did his best to prevent defeat.

Schneider racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Trinidad Triggers. He doubled in the second innings.

Schneider allowed no earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out two over six innings of work.

Jon Denney racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second inning.

Evan Bickett got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Dominic Monda (2-1) took the loss for the Trinidad Triggers. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
