6/28/2016-

An impressive effort by Joey Miller hoisted the Roswell Invaders (29-11) to a 12-8 win over the White Sands Pupfish (15-28) on Tuesday at Joe Bauman Park.

Miller racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Roswell Invaders. He homered in the first and second innings and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 20 runs and 32 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were eight pitchers used in the game.

Dubal Baez paced the White Sands Pupfish at the plate. Baez went 4-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the first, fourth, and ninth innings.

David Johnson got his sixth win for the Roswell Invaders despite allowing six runs over seven innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered 11 hits.

Andrew Millner took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed 10 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out five.
