The Salina Stockade need extra frames to finish the Great Bend Boom win 11-7

It took 10 innings, but the Salina Stockade (17-17) managed to put away the Great Bend Boom (13-20) 11-7 on Sunday at Al Burns Field.

With the score tied at seven in the tenth inning, Dalton Bernardi came to the plate and doubled, plating John Carlos Peralta.

Mike Rachun led the Salina Stockades offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the fifth and tenth innings.

Keifer McClendon put together a nice outing. McClendon held the Great Bend Boom hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

Logan Trowbridge got on base three times in the game for the Great Bend Boom. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Phil Ramos (0-1) took the loss for the Great Bend Boom. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
