Louis Martini clubbed two home runs to carry the Santa Fe Fuego (7-29) to a 13-6 win over the White Sands Pupfish (14-25) at Fort Marcy Park.
Nine runs in the first three innings helped the Santa Fe Fuego blow out the White Sands Pupfish. A solo home run by Martini, a two-run home run by Martini, an RBI double by Chris Tavares, a two-run single by Daniel Muller, and a groundout by Bradley Thomas in the first inning and a two-run home run by Martini during the second inning fueled the Santa Fe Fuegos offense early.

Zack Carter recorded his second win for the Santa Fe Fuego even though he allowed six runs over six innings. Carter struck out seven, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Frank Fantino ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
The Santa Fe Fuego were sparked by Martini and Matt Haskins, who teamed up for eight hits and eight RBIs.
