Great game from the Las Vegas Train Robbers Caillouet not enough in 14-10 loss to the Santa Fe Fuego

The Las Vegas Train Robbers (21-30) failed to take advantage of Jordan Caillouets effort at the plate on Tuesday, losing 14-10 to the Santa Fe Fuego (27-17) at Fort Marcy Park.

Caillouet racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the third and fourth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 24 runs and 28 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 11 pitchers in total.

Connor Lorenzo got on base five times in the game for the Santa Fe Fuego. He scored four runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.

The Las Vegas Train Robbers lineup had no answer for Derrek Justice. Justice gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Clayton Voechting recorded his second win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. Voechting struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Kyal Williams was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Santa Fe Fuego hammered the Las Vegas Train Robbers pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
