Key at bat helps the Trinidad Triggers defeat the Taos Blizzard 14-7

Jamie McMillan came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as McMillan reached on a in the two to lead the Trinidad Triggers (8-7) to a 14-7 win over the Taos Blizzard (3-12) on Saturday at Central Park.

Ten runs in the opening three innings allowed the Trinidad Triggers to easily put away the Taos Blizzard. An RBI single by Nicholas Bunce, an error, and a sacrifice fly by Blake May in the first inning and , a two-run single by Will Leonard, and an RBI single by Jake Summers during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Trinidad Triggers.

May racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Trinidad Triggers.

Alex Bos recorded his second win for the Trinidad Triggers even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Bos struck out four, walked one and gave up 12 hits.

Matt Garlock couldnt get it done on the mound for the Taos Blizzard, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked seven and struck out three.
