11/27/2019-David Peterson will return to Garden City as the 2020 manager of the Garden City Wind.
David managed the Wind in 2017 before leaving to manage the California City Whiptails to Pacific Division playoff appereance in 2018. He returned to the Wind in 2019. David lead the Wind to their best season ever in 2019 finishing 2nd in the Mountain Division and hosting a first round playoff series against Roswell.
David has served as manager of Salina Stockade on all teams since inception of the team. In 2016 he was with the Salina Stockade the entire season in Pecos League. In 2017 he finished the season in the American Association with the Stockade. In 2018 he managed the Stockade in the Pecos Spring League and in the CanAm League.
2020 will mark the 6th year of the Garden City Wind. The Regular Season begins May 29 in Garden City. For information on the Wind visit http://www.GardenCityWind.com
