The Las Vegas Train Robbers (41-25) beat the Raton Osos (13-52) 5-3 in seven innings on Monday at Gabrielle Field behind Gary Stauff, who went 3-3 at the plate. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Shane Casey reached base three times in the game for the Raton Osos. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Travis Renwick got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over five innings. Renwick struck out two, walked two and gave up five hits.

Kellen Quintana (0-1) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
