Jason Veyna drove in three runs, sparking the Trinidad Triggers (27-19) to an 8-7 victory in seven innings over the Roswell Invaders (34-14) on Sunday at Joe Bauman Park. He homered in the third inning.

Ryan Normoyle racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Chad Hardison looked sharp on the mound. Hardison held the Trinidad Triggers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Chris Shaklee recorded his fifth win for the Trinidad Triggers even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Jacob Cook (3-1) took the loss for the Roswell Invaders. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked none and struck out one.
