Flores went 2-3 as the White Sands Pupfish (18-18) took home an 8-6 victory over the Las Vegas Train Robbers (20-14) at Rodriguez Park on Wednesday. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Chris Anklam looked sharp on the mound. Anklam held the Las Vegas Train Robbers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five.

Chuck Fontana was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the White Sands Pupfish batters and allowing two runs.

Andrew Lopez racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He singled in the third innings and doubled in the first and fourth innings.

Fontana (2-1) was the games losing pitcher.
