Ryan Normoyle went 3-3 at the plate as the Roswell Invaders (29-7) took home a 4-2 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (19-13) at Central Park on Wednesday. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Jacob Cook looked sharp on the mound. The Trinidad Triggers managed just three hits off of Cook, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his six innings of work.
Jacob Fabry paced the Trinidad Triggers at the plate. Fabry went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.
The Roswell Invaders had no answer for Zach Leitten, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Leitten held the Roswell Invaders hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Chris Tuttle (4-1) took the loss for the Trinidad Triggers. He lasted just seven innings, walked five, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
