Michael Rampone went 1-4 and hit a home run as the Tucson Saguaros (51-13) took home a 5-4 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (31-32) at Kokernot Field on Wednesday. He homered in the seventh inning.

Reagan Rutledge had a hot bat for the Alpine Cowboys. Rutledge went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Matt Kelley got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Kelley struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

David Gates couldnt get it done on the mound for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
