A walk-off from Clay Ardeeser brought home the winning run for the Garden City Wind (23-19) in an 8-7 victory over the Great Bend Boom (15-25) at Clint Lightner on Monday.

Ardeeser racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Garden City Wind. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Jonathan Ovalles recorded his first win of the year for the Garden City Wind. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Phil Ramos couldnt get it done on the bump for the Great Bend Boom, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
