Jesse Baker went 1-3, helping the Tucson Saguaros (28-9) to a 3-2 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (21-15) on Thursday at Kino Veterans. He tripled in the first inning.

Steven Borkowski got the win for the Tucson Saguaros thanks to eight strikeouts. Borkowski allowed one earned run, two hits and four walks over five innings.

Trevor Sealey reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Joe Robinson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
