The bats were busy at Warren on Sunday, and when the dust cleared the White Sands Pupfish (12-21) had a 13-12 win over the Tucson Saguaros (26-7).
The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.
Eric Kalbfliesh racked up five RBIs on three hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Davon Poole racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Tucson Saguaros. He homered in the second inning, singled in the first and sixth innings, and tripled in the ninth inning.
Zac Johnson recorded his first win for the White Sands Pupfish even though he allowed five runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked five and surrendered six hits.
Danny Daniel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
