Brian Luebcke kept the White Sands Pupfish (11-18) off the board during his six innings of work and the Tucson Saguaros (23-6) beat the White Sands Pupfish, 16-1.
Luebcke allowed six hits, one walk and struck out five.
Eight runs in the first three innings helped the Tucson Saguaros blow out the White Sands Pupfish. An RBI single by Luebcke and an RBI double by Burnell Dailey in the second inning helped the Tucson Saguaros put some runs on the board early.
Tanner Giesel racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Tucson Saguaros. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.
The Tucson Saguaros easily handled the White Sands Pupfish pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
Taylor Elman ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed 11 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
