6/16/2016-Patrick Barnett has been traded from the Great Bend Boom to the San Rafael Pacifics. Barnett is from Windsor, CT and played college baseball at Eastern Connecticut State University. While with the Boom he was 2-2 with a 2.25 ERA. He had 32 strikeouts and only 3 walks.

The Pacifics are the founding team of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs and play in Albert Park in San Rafael, Ca. Barnett will join former Las Cruces Vaqueros Michael Ormseth and Jake Taylor on the Pacifics roster.

Kyle McKay a right handed pitcher from Toronto will take Barnett's spot in the rotation for the Boom.
