A walk-off double from Kirby Campbell brought home the winning run for the Great Bend Boom (10-11) in an 8-7 victory over the Topeka Train Robbers in 10 innings at Al Burns Field on Monday.
Campbell racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Great Bend Boom. He doubled in the tenth inning.
The Great Bend Booms Dominique Lincoln was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.
Mitchell Gonsalvez recorded the win for the Great Bend Boom. He allowed one run over one inning. Gonsalvez struck out none, walked two and gave up one hit.
Tyler Shannon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
