The bats were busy at Griggs Park on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Tucson Saguaros (21-6) had a 14-8 win over the White Sands Pupfish (11-16).
The teams totaled 31 hits in the game.
The Tucson Saguaros blew out the White Sands Pupfish thanks to 19 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Tucson Saguaros scored three runs in the seventh on the Tucson Saguaros scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Michael Rampone, an RBI double by Ryan Retz, and an RBI single by Jesse Baker.
Adam Urbania racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Tucson Saguaros. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, second, fourth, and seventh innings.
Even though Steven Borkowski allowed five runs over eight innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. He struck out 10, walked eight and surrendered eight hits.
Nick Bozman (1-3) was the games losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked four and struck out five.
