Kenny Chavez went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the White Sands Pupfish (10-12) to an 8-6 victory over the Roswell Invaders (12-8) on Wednesday at Griggs Park. He singled in the third inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Nick Bozman brought the heat against the Roswell Invaders during his outing. The Roswell Invaders managed just two hits off of Bozman, who allowed one earned run, walked eight and struck out six during his eight innings of work.

Roche Woodard got on base three times in the game for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the seventh inning and tripled in the ninth inning.

David Johnson was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out three.
