3/11/2016-The Houston Apollos won their first game of the Pecos Spring League giving the Galveston Sea Lions their first loss 8-1. The Apollos got a great pitching effort from Bryan Kloppe who just arrived from Australia. Kloppe went 4 innings allowing 1 run while striking out 2. Jesse Holiday made his 2nd Pecos Spring Apperence throwing three scoreless innings. Morgan Blatnik went 3-4 for the Apollos. Logan Trowbridge went 3-3 scoring 2 runs for the Apollos. Bobby Webb hit another Home Run for the Apollos. The Apollos had a team high 13 hits.

Anthony Farrell pitched 2-2/3 innings for the Sea Lions before leaving the game with an injury. He allowed 4 hits, 4 runs striking out 3 and walking 2. TJ Pruneda pitched 3.1 innings allowing 4 runs while striking out 4.
