The White Sands Pupfish (24-16) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 15-1 landslide win over the Roswell Invaders (24-17) at Joe Bauman Park.
The White Sands Pupfish scored six runs in the fifth on the White Sands Pupfish scored in the fifth on a groundout by Aaron Olivas, a three-run double by Michael Brandi, and a two-run home run by Wesley Wallace.
Wallace racked up three RBIs on four hits for the White Sands Pupfish.
Anthony Pastrana kept contact to a minimum, striking out nine the Roswell Invaders batters. Pastrana allowed one earned run, three hits and five walks over five innings.
Ryan Calby (0-3) was the games losing pitcher. He allowed 11 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out two.
