Brett Balkan collected three hits as the Roswell Invaders (12-9) took home a 9-7 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (12-10) at Joe Bauman Park on Wednesday. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings.

Daniel Aldrich was hot from the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. Aldrich went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Even though Corey Lathram-Skillman allowed six runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. Lathram-Skillman struck out three, walked two and gave up nine hits.

Steven Johnson was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked none and struck out none.
