Ryan Normoyle collected three hits, helping the Roswell Invaders (29-20) to a 6-1 victory over the White Sands Pupfish (21-25) on Wednesday at Joe Bauman Park. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Tyler Gorkuw got the win for the Roswell Invaders thanks to nine strikeouts. Gorkuw allowed one earned run, seven hits and three walks over six innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the White Sands Pupfishs Yermin Mercedes. Mercedes went 4-5. He singled in the first, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Matt Cook was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
