A walk-off single from Clemente Parra brought home the winning run for the Bisbee Blue (24-15) in a 13-12 victory over the Roswell Invaders (23-16) at Warren Ballpark on Saturday.
The Bisbee Blue were led by Parras hitting. Parra went 1-1 and scored one run. He singled in the ninth inning.
The two teams combined for 25 runs and 35 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were nine pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.
Daniel Aldrich did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bisbee Blue, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second and fifth innings and tripled in the sixth inning.
Joe Robinson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over two innings. Robinson struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.
Ernie Zaragoza ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
The Bisbee Blue hammered the Roswell Invaders pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
